Tagged. Learn Seven Random Facts About Melissa

by Melissa Lewis on March 11, 2008

Recently, Jen from JLC Studio tagged us. Now, according to the law of the Blog World, I must provide all of you readers with 7 random facts about me. Hey, I’m not one for breaking the law, so here you go:

1. My favorite TV show of all time is Friends. That’s right, I’m not ashamed either. I LOVE this show!

Put me on a sofa and turn on Friends, I am instantly in a good mood and laughing my head off. It’s not uncommon either, if you hang around me for long, to hear a few Friends quotes slip out of my mouth every now and then.

2. My favorite color is green. Now I am picky about my greens though,. It can’t be hunter green or puke green. But I love chartreuse or leaf green. You can find a pop of green in just about every room in my home. However, a close (very close) second is turquoise. Oh, I just love it. Put the two together, MAGIC!

3. Bart and I don’t have any children, at the present, but we do have a baby. Murphy is our silk terrier and he will be 2 this year. Some of you may think this is a bit much, but I’m telling you the truth. I prayed for this dog. We have had a some issues with pets in the past, but we needed a pet. Not having any little one’s running around, we needed a little something to take care of. He’s a great snuggler!

4. If you want me to freak out, just touch me anywhere with your feet! Ahhhhh, I can’t stand it. Don’t know why, there is no rhyme or reason, but I cannont stand feet. Except, for some reason, my husbands! He can touch me anytime with his feet:)

5. I recently discovered that I have a love for baking, though I shouldn’t be surprised, I am addicted to all things with sugar!

This all started two years ago when I discovered a lovely Southern lady by the name of Paula Deen. She cooks great southern food, and makes it look so simple too. Once day she made a red velvet cake that just looked scrumptious. So I broke out my Kitchen Aid Mixer that I had used only once in the past few years. Lo and behold, I mad red velvet cupcakes. And they were good! It was so much fun.

6. I love to paint and create. The problem is this, Jaime and I are always doing this and constantly in other people’s homes coming up with new ideas and finishes for them, I always want to re-do something in my own house. My husband just smiles and let’s me. The good thing is, for me it’s FREE!

7. And finally, what I find most interesting is that I never dreamed I would be a faux finisher / business owner, much less have products in other people’s stores. My degree is in fashion merchandising. I never took my love or interest in art seriously. So the fact that it’s my full time job now, still astounds me. I am blessed!

The second part of this Tag Law is that I have to tag 3 other’s. And here they are:
