Can Chocolate Make You More Creative?

After spending a long, but so much fun, couple of days in the studio, I came home to see this on my computer. For those of you who know me, this is no surprise, for those who don’t… this is my weakness! I love all things chocolate. Well, let’s be honest, if it has sugar in it… it’s for me! I found this recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie over at Bakerella.

There is nothing like a good does of something gooey and yummy to give you that burst of creative energy you need!

Jaime and I sometimes turn to sweet little indulgences like this for that little pick me up we need while plugging away in the studio. Does this work for anyone else, or are we just crazy?

Yes, chocolate is good for a boost of energy! My mother has a 103 year old friend and she has a small piece nearly every day late in the afternoon to give her energy. She is an amazing woman!
Long live and love chocolate!

Oh my goodness. These look absolutely delicious. I hate to admit this but now I can’t end each night without a hot cup of tea and something sweet. So I don’t really use sweets to give me a boost of energy. They are a delightful little treat to end my day (but I MUST stop this ritual soon).

Or maybe it’s the other way around: creative people love chocolate. At least that’s what I tell myself when I feel guilty. It’s not me… it’s genetic.

If it did I would be the most creative person on earth…at this very moment I am eating a dark chocolate, cherry panini. This “chocolate chip cookie pie” looks astounding!

This looks so delicious, and of course it makes you more creative. Just looking at it makes me creatively consider the small impact to my diet ;-)

There is definitively a link , there. I can testify to that. But I am glad (and relieved!) you’re phrasing it so nicely!
