Off The Wall Debut’s New Product!

by Melissa Lewis on May 7, 2008

Jaime and I are so excited… bursting at the seamsfalling off the edge of our seat’s about this new product!

One of my dear old friend’s, Kristine, was talking to me a few months ago about wanting a tray for her over-sized ottoman. However, she couldn’t find one that was the size she wanted, that was colorful and cheery. She wanted it to be almost a piece of art.

Instantly, the wheels started turning. We started brainstorming and I told her of a piece of furniture we had done in a certain color combination and finish. Her face was explosive with joy because it was what she had been wanting all along. When she went on our website and saw our Floral Tabletop, she immediately called me. “Can you put that floral design on the tray?”

Of course we could, so we did. And here it is! Our first ever Over-sized Floral Tray. We hope you like it as much as we do.

Here is the tray on Kristine’s ottoman. It fits it perfectly, don’t ya think?

Great tray! I love what you did… it looks like a wax resist technique?? I am guessing.. but That tray looks like something from a very high end boutique!

This tray is beautiful. What a talent you guys have. There is nothing better in my opinion than a custom made piece, it kinda sets you apart from everyone else. Paula

Jen R, we actually didn’t use the wax resist technique on this, but that’s a great idea.

CC, I believe we are. This is the only one we have made so far, but we are planning on doing it in several other color combinations. We are also going to do different patterns.

Paula, thanks for the lovely comment, you are too sweet:)

Wow, that looks great! It doees look like it came from a chi-chi boutique. The color combo is very fresh and I love the chippiness of it. Hope you sell a bundle of them! Great job & thanks for the compliments on my patio project. I’m so happy it is done before hot weather sets in.

What a great idea. Soft ottomans are great, but it is hard to find things that work well on top of them. This is a perfect solution!
