Do you ever feel like the busier you get, the less inspiration you have?
Or maybe, I just am now realizing that the busier you get, the harder you must work at letting yourself be inspired. Right now, the peacefulness of these white rooms are so inspiring to me. Maybe because I would love to be vacationing in these spots right now.

I just love this cottage outdoor patio. The white chandelier, hydrangeas and furniture are beautifully matched with the green painted table base and the colors of the flowers. Sometimes, just letting nature be all the color you have in a setting is just enough.

Here is a more classic setting of an all white decor. I love the candlesticks on the top of the mantel, for that “just a touch” of vintage feel. This room is instantly soothing and tranquil to me! Ahhhhhhhhhh!

That porch is so inviting!!! I love green and white, and just a little extra color from the flowers (I think they are geraniums?), oh and the ruffled cushions are romantic…..I love it!!

Good morning! These pictures do look soothing! I loved that double sink from This is Glamorous, I’ve oo’d and ahh’d over that photo. In theory and in photos, I like all white rooms, but in reality, I go for colors and wood tones mixed in with the white. Something about the balance between the two makes me the most happy! Maybe it is having three kids, the idea of all white sounds good until I picture chocolate covered hands and dirty feet. :-) I suppose you could always bleach everything if it was white, but that sounds like work to me. I guess I’ll stick to admiring it in photos! It does make a pretty picture!
Happy week ahead!

Often, cleansing our palette with a wash of white or wearing of the white is just what we need to let inspiration come find us.
Wonderful images!

Melissa, you are very right about the up keep on white furniture. My white duvet is hard enough. It is so beautiful though, isn’t it?
Artist, let’s set a date:) I’ll be there!

Okay, here’s the plan Melissa…..we’ll meet on that yummy and most relaxing front porch for iced tea….with mint and lemon of course ;) then we’ll wash our dishes in that lovely kitchen. I will wash….who could resist in that beautiful sink!?!? Aaahhh Afterwards, we can retire (once the mosquitoes drag us inside….can you tell I live in the south. Ha!) to the living room where we share all of our “tear sheets!” See ya soon……wink, wink!!!

I love this collection of images–there seems to be a peacefulness about the bright, sunny, white rooms . . .
And the porch, well, it looks so relaxing! Have been so crazy busy the past few months, and that porch looks like the perfect place to unwind . . .

I agree - I know what you mean about inspiration and being busy! Good to give your eyes some time with white!

That double sink is hugh! so useful!
We have chosen a sipilar tap in our kitchen.
I love all-white schemes in pictures. But it really depends on the light. In our house I have used a pigment I love; it’s Chalk White satin finish by Cath Kidston. It is amazing! I have a thing for mother-of-pearl, but I admit I didn’ t expect it to be that good.
Wishing you peace and inspiration.

I love these white-centric pictures…white is always so inspiring to me because it’s a blank canvas that you can add to…great collection of pics!

“Do you ever feel like the busier you get, the less inspiration you have?” Yes!! That is so true. I have found that most of my inspiration comes when I have the TIME to be thoughtful. I do love these sinks too. Such a lovely post.
