Need a Tuscan Getaway?

by Melissa Lewis on August 7, 2008

Sometimes you just need a space in your home that’s your very own retreat. What better place for that than your bathroom. Here is a bathroom that Jaime and I did for a client who want that Old World Tuscan Feel.

I don’t think there was a space in this bathroom that went untouched.

We added texture to the columns and fauxed them to look thousands of years olds.

We even gave the tub surround & armoire an Italian feel by painting it a metallic gold and finishing off the look by antiquing.

And, even though the pictures didn’t turn out well, no detail was left behind. We added clouds to the sky blue ceiling to finish it off.
