So technically, it is still summer. But being in the business of selling home decor items, Jaime and I are preparing for the holidays already. So it’s inevitable that we have Halloween and Christmas on the brain already.
But what about Fall?
This week, Melissa from the always inspiring blog, The Inspired Room, is hosting a Fall Nesting Week. I’ve been busy with my kitchen re-do, which is still in progress (I’ll have pictures soon!), so needless to say my house is not ready for any kind of decorating. However, I’ve got some great inspiration from some of my favorite stores.

Ok, so now I have got to get my kitchen done so I can decorate! I am getting so excited to have Fall decor through out the house, with scents of pumpkin spice wafting through every room.

I just love lots of lanterns when the weather starts to get cooler - those Pottery Barn ones are such a lovely classic shape. Of course, here in Australia, spring has just arrived, so I am thinking about clearing our and brightening up instead.

I love the smells of fall too. The pumpkin and spice…I haven’t decorated my house yet, but really Emily, why not? ;) I’m going to now…we’ve been watching football and making cookies, ahhh, I’m glad Fall is here.

I only decorate for Christmas… I don’t change anything in my house for any other holidays or seasons. But I am soooo looking forward to Fall and cooler weather and SOUP!
