It’s been one of those crazy, busy weeks again for us at Off The Wall. I’m thrilled to tell you that we are creating new products and designs for our picture frames that can only be found at Merry Marketplace, this October (sneak peeks to come!) Jaime and I still spend our week days faux-ing around town as well.
Meanwhile, I’m also getting ready for a ministry trip to Atlanta with my husband, Bart. This makes it a tad difficult to find the time to post here as often as I would like, but I thought I would show you one of my favorite kitchens Jaime and I have had the opportunity to do.
If you have been hanging around here long, you know how I love my turquoise. This kitchen just makes my heart skip a beat!

Gorgeous!!! Turquoise is my favorite color too! What is the color name of that teal? I love it!
Melissa Lewis 09.04.08 at 9:58 pm
Thanks Christy! The color was a custom mix specifically for the client. It is pretty though, isn’t it?!

I love the turquoise! Great kitchen. I look at your blog through reader and I did not know that I have only been seeing part of your posts. It stopped after the first photo. I clicked to comment and saw that there were more photos. I just wanted to let you know that in case there is a setting or something- I wonder if others are not seeing all your post. I love seeing your work.

I love it! The off-white cabinets are beautiful and I love how as you look around the kitchen it’s all in that similar tone and then BAM! Turquoise island! It really pops and gives it so much personality without being out of place. Love it!

I do love the colors. I think that the hints of turquoise create the right touch and make these rooms very appealing. Sounds like going to Atlanta with your husband will be a fun trip.

Love the kitchen! This is the first time I’ve happened upon your blog and I’m not sure your location, but judging from the pottery, I’d say you MUST be near Tupelo, MS. Am I close?? LOL

I love what you did with the cabinets. I am planning to do something very similar to mine…. And call me off the wall here (no pun intended), but I see in my mind a hint of light french (not bright) mixed in my glaze. My walls are a pretty yellow and have been for years. I love them and have no plans to change them.
If you don’t like it, how hard is it to paint over and not make your husband…irritated.
Melissa (Missy) 09.17.08 at 7:21 am
BTW, that is supposed to be “light french blue”

I hope you are having an inspirational week.
You always inspire me. This kitchen is wonderful. I love the island color. Just a hint that I like pops of color - our island is raspberry.

Hi! I just found your site. I LOVE this kitchen also. My media room is chocolate brown, but I would have never thought to paint a kitchen this color. It looks great with the turquoise cabinets. Now I want to re-do my kitchen!!
I’m a graphic designer and love interior design and painting. Can’t wait to go through more of your web site.
Have a great day!
