Jaime and I have the privilege of seeing the final outcome of all of our faux finishing jobs we do. Most of the time, when we have completed the project, the client loves for us to take pictures for our portfolio and put them on our website.

However, this is not really the case when it comes to our line of picture frames and other products. It’s funny too, because it’s usually such a personal thing for the customer to purchase, there is more emotion involved because of the meaning the photographs have to them. So I was overjoyed when I was able to walk into Amanda’s home and see her family pictures in some of our frames we made especially for her.

The Monogram Heirloom Frame is our most popular. Because we offer FREE CUSTOMIZATION on all of our heirloom frames, you are able to get it in a color that will fit perfectly with your home decor.

Amanda had two scriptures that she had picked specifically for her little girl. Scriptures can be added to any of our heirloom frames or you may select one of our already available Scripture Heirloom Frames.

Can you believe we have got Christmas on the brain?! Well, not really Christmas, but our big show of the year, Merry Marketplace, is just around the corner. Jaime and I are working away in the studio to get lots of our most requested items under way for you all.

We’ve also got some great new original designs and creations we are so excited about unveiling at this years show! Don’t worry, we’ll show you some sneak peaks from time to time right here on our blog.

We are also considering starting an official e-newsletter for updates on the new products. Would any of you be interested in this? In addition to subscribing to our blog feed for behind the scene news, an e-newsletter would keep more of you up to date and also offer special promotions and discounts. Who doesn’t like that, right?!?!

Yet another busy week for Off The Wall…

Jaime and I have been painting away on kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, tub surrounds all the while building & painting frames and filling orders. Thank goodness it’s time for some weekend rest! Hopefully we will have some new pictures for your viewing pleasure next week of our faux work.

Have we shown you are new line of Cafe Stripe Trio Frames? We did several of these, introducing them to our customers at Arlington In April a few months ago. The first batch we did sold out immediately!

We created a striped version available in two different color options. Pictured above is my favorite, an intense chartreuse green, cream, brown, and a beautiful teal. Below, we have the Cafe Stripe Trio in brown, the perfect raspberry red, a great golden yellow, and the prettiest shade of green. Each frame has the charm of an old distressed piece of furniture that was found and saved! This frame includes three 5 x 5 frames, all available with hardware and glass.

If you like the frame, but need something a little less bold, go with our Solid Distressed Cafe Trio. Pictured below is black, however, this Solid Frame is available to be customized in a color you prefer for FREE!

Jaime and I have been completely swamped with kitchen cabinets. I’m excited to say that this morning, I am off to the studio to work on Frames!!! We have several orders to fill before next week is over. The Cafe Trio Frame has become very popular, so we will be making several of these little lovelies today! I can’t express to you how excited Jaime and I when we know we are headed to the studio specifically to work on our products. We are exhilarated beyond belief!

Thanks so much for waiting for these pictured. We had such a blast at this years Arlington in April. The sun was out and the weather was better than anyone could have asked for. This years festival was the largest yet!

We enjoyed meeting so many new people, and of course loved catching up with our existing customers. Thank you to all of our friends and family who came by to support us. I am sure you didn’t mind having to shop, play and eat the good food as well!

I know I have promised you pictures of the festival this weekend, and I will deliver! I haven’t had the opportunity to add everything to our website in addition to the blog, so for now, here is a little teaser for you.

A lot of our favorite frames and items come from what actually was a mistake. This happens a lot in our faux finishing as well. We originally intended for this frame to look much different, but in the middle of the process, we saw something else come forth. Does that ever happen to you artist’s out there?

The Cross Heirloom Frame was actually inspired by Amanda, the owner of Classic Trends. She had come to our studio a while back wanting a collection for her own home, and wanted several Scripture Frames and a frame with cross’s on it. Jaime actually designed the cross’s you see here for her and we fell in love with it.

It’s that time of year, Arlington in April is fast approaching. Jaime and I had such a wonderful time last year at this show. Lynn and Amanda, owners of Classic Trends , asked us to join them at their store for the event. It was gorgeous and so many people showed up to shop all of the booths and eat the great festival food. If you haven’t been to Classic Trends, located in the historic depot square in downtown Arlington, you need to head on over. They have great items that you can’t find elsewhere. They truly believe in supporting and featuring the work of local artists in addition to having the most current trends in home decor. If you have a love for flower arrangements, then this store is a MUST. With an in house floral designer, you will definitely be blown away.

So if your close by, you’ll definitely want to be sure you put Arlington in April down on your calendar. Jaime and I have been working away in the studio and we will be debuting a new series of our Heirloom Frames. We also have created brand new frames and quote plaques, with new color combinations and better than you could imagine. We can’t wait to show you all, we’re just bursting at the seams!
