Have You Twittered? No, It’s Not Dirty!
Okay, it took months before my husband Bart finally talked me into creating a blog. And he was right, I do love it. Jaime and I have met & gotten to know some amazing and very inspiring people because we entered into this crazy world of blogging.
Well, Bart did it again. “You need to join Twitter, you will love it!” “I need to join WHAT,” I said immediately.
So I checked it out… and guess what… he was right! I found some old friends I can now communicate with instantly. I found new friends and still finding new friends. It was so easy and took no time at all. And best of all, you don’t even have to be a techy to understand how to join.
Click here if you want to be in the know up to the second of what I’m up to. I’m going to get Jaime in on this too someday!!!
On another note…

What do you think of my chair? Jaime and I are constantly and maybe obsessively checking our local thrift stores, junk stores and flea markets for treasure. Jaime saw this on the side of the road awaiting the garbage truck. Seeing the hidden potential it had, of course she snatched it up just for me! I wish I had a picture of what it looked like originally. Just imagine dirty, crumbly and almost rotting away. Now it’s one of my favorite items in my home! Thanks Jaime!

Inspiration for Your Home Office Organization
Better Homes And Garden offers some great solutions for turning old trash or trinkets into marvelous solutions for home organization. And besides that, I just love the way these look.
Need to organize your desk drawer. Try using a muffin tin or a popover pan is even suggested for deeper storage.
“Fork Clips” to hold everything from photos to business cards. What a great way to show off your miss-matched utensils that are too pretty to store or throw away.
Have a favorite mug, tea cup or demitasse… display it on your office desk for inspiration. It can double as a holder for your pens, paper clips or thumb tacks.
I love this one. Old drawer pulls make excellent hooks for your reading glasses and keys. Curtain clip rings are pictured here holding papers and business cards. You could even use this to display your favorite photos.
I love finding beautiful silver pieces when I am out garage saling or flea marketing. Put these pieces to use on your desk to organize everything from mail, check books, stamps and spare change.

Trash? No your treasure!
The weather finally perked up on Sunday, so I thought I would hit the local flea market. My normal thrifty partner was MIA (on a mini-vacation with her children in Nashville) so I hi-jacked my mom and we headed out the door. Unfortunately, we didn’t go until the last day and mid-afternoon for that matter, so most vendors were closing up shop. However, I did manage to find some cool pieces. I love to find things and use them for something they were not intended for, to incorporate fine little details in my home. These brooches and earrings really caught my eye. I just couldn’t pass them up, especially for such a crazy good deal. And if you no me at all, I have an obsession with all things turquoise! Really, it’s true.
