Life after Merry Marketplace

Well, we survived the rush of the Merry Marketplace season. We enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces and getting to catch up with some old friends.  We were thrilled to meet new friends as well… thank you for stopping and sharing that your follow our blog and for all those who offered up prayers along our personal and business journeys as well!  Aside from being able to create new pieces, one of our favorite things about doing these shows is hearing your stories and being able to meet the people who bring our pieces into their homes.

Every year we try to creat new pieces and introduce them here at Merry Marketplace first. Our new cross’s were a big hit, which we were so excited about.  It’s such a rush when Jaime and I create something new, and we LOVE it!  But still, not sure if everyone else will really “get it” and love it like we do.  Trust me… we have been really off before! But that’s all part of it.  You can’t be afraid of failure or rejection if you are in the business of art or creating new things.  Sometimes people WILL think your crazy.

And of course, we always do some of our “one of kind” pieces specifically for Merry Marketplace. Our Shabby Racks sold out almost on the first day. I had to send Jaime home to go and make a some more for the rest of the crowd.  Several wanted to order these and inquired if we could do more and even larger ones, if you would like one, please email or give us a call.  We might even bring some back next year:)

Thanks again to everyone who came to see us.   We hope our pieces bring joy in your home!
